E-Media: Riyadh - Under the patronage of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Makkah Region, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the First Arab and Gulf Healthcare Quality and Safety Conference in Jeddah during the period from 27 to 29 October 2009. The three-day conference will be attended by the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, the Director General of the Executive Office of GCC Ministers of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, the World Health Organization, and a number of doctors and specialists from various countries around the world, Saudi Press Agency reported. The Executive Director of the Council of GCC Health Ministers, Dr Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, said that the conference aims to enhancing the concept of healthcare improvement, taking necessary steps to activate the regional strategy for patients safety and implementing it according to national integrated programs.
