Riyadh. Minister of Rural and Municipal Affairs, His Royal Highness Dr. Mansour bin Mit'eb bin Abdul Aziz, has inaugurated yesterday the electronic information systems in the Internet for the Municipal Councils on his Ministry's Website. This is to improve the performance of Municipal Councils and provide them with support and also to enable citizens to make the utmost benefit from the services provided by the Councils electronically.
According to the SPA, this system is one of the applications of the modern e-government that will benefit all Municipal Councils. It should be noted that this system was based on the regulations and procedures circulated among all Municipal Councils in the Kingdom which will enable the Directorate general of Administration to follow up the work of these councils.
Meanwhile, citizens, through this systems will be able to access data and activities of Municipal Councils and could also present complaints, proposals and petitions and will be able to know what action has been taken to solve their problems.
