A significant progress towards eServices at Qassim Governorate
Bridah, eMedia:
Qassim Governorate has lately achieved a significant step in its eServices transformation journey so as to provide citizens with flexible, yet accurate, services.
Abdulaziz Abdullah Alhumidan, The Region's governorate Assistant Agent, declared that both citizens and residents can now follow up their transactions even if they are outside the kingdom.
Linking the 10 related provinces under a unified communication network using IP-VPN technology, all necessary information about the governorate's transactions can be obtained through various channels i.e.; the website www.alqassim.gov.sa, SMS service, IVR (automatic response), and KIOSK (self-service equipment), he added.
It is worth mentioning that the Governorate achieved a high ratio in the second evaluation of Quantitative Achievement which was estimated through a range of performance measures specified by the eGovernment program (YESSER). Accordingly, the  governorate has been qualified to move to the second stage eGovernment transformation where it can provide services electronically.
