King Abdullah Congratulated Humanitarian Kingdom’s Medical team for successfully separating Iraqi conjoined twins

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah, congratulated the Humanitarian Kingdom’s Team who conducted the operation of separating the Iraqi conjoined twins successfully yesterday at the National Guard’s King Abdulaziz Medical City.
The Medical Team also received congratulations from Deputy of the King, Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, Prince Badr Bin Abdulaziz Deputy Chairman of the National Guard, Prince Metaab Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Chairman of the National Guard for executive affairs.
Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabea who also headed the Medical team, appreciated the keen interest of King Abdullah for Health. In Press conference, Al-Rabea pointed out the 28th success of such operations which came as a challenge necessitating acceleration of the operation to be made.
The Siamese twins from the Iraq, Zainab and Ruqiya, were separated successfully by a paramedical team headed by Health Minister Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah at the King Abdul Aziz Medical City in Riyadh (KAMC).
On Monday, Al-Rabeeah announced that the pair of Siamese twins from Iraq will undergo an emergency separation surgery since their health condition was critical.
