King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chairs the Cabinet meeting

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet session held in Jeddah yesterday.

At the outset of the meeting, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the talks and consultations he made last week with leaders of brotherly and friendly countries and their envoys on aspects of cooperation and the overall situations at the regional and international levels.

The Cabinet discussed a host of reports on the developments of incidents in the region and, in this regard, denounced the continuing acts of violence and brutal massacres in Syria that resulted in hundreds of unarmed civilians killed or injured, citing the massacre in Al-Tiraimsah village. The Cabinet described these massacres as terrorist and cruel acts that need decisive measures taken by the international community to protect the Syrian people.

The Cabinet was, then, briefed on the preparations  by various government agencies in Makkah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah to serve Umrah (minor Hajj) performers and visitors of the two holy mosques during the forthcoming holy fasting month of Ramadan. In this regard, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has instructed that every possible service be extended to Umrah performers.
