Minister of Health meets with experts from WHO and US Infectious Disease Control Center

E-Media: Jeddah - The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah met yesterday with experts from the World Health Organization and the US. Infectious Disease Control Center as well as trainees from the Ministry of Health who are participating in a workshop on how to use mobile devices in the epidemiological surveillance system of the Ministry of Health which started on Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Press Agency quoted. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah was briefed on the workshop aimed at training the participants how to use the system and operate the advanced mobile devices used with it, to exchange data with the system which is equipped with a GPS system, operated by a central command center that will be set up in either Makkah or Jeddah to be accessible by mobile phones and laptops to enter and receive data, information, and instruction on diseases under surveillance.
