E-Media: Riyadh - The Planning and Development Agency at Ministry of Education holds today in Riyadh a three-days workshop on how to benefit from the tests of Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) with the participation of 80 experts in the educational field from all regions of the Kingdom. The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Planning and Development Dr. Naif Hashal Al-Roumi, according to Saudi Press Agency, said that the international tests (TIMSS) are the most important scientific, substantive instruments in the development of education and improving its outputs, adding that the workshop delivered by the American Professor, Dr. Alexander Wiseman aims to introduce teachers and educational supervisors with the international study of mathematics and sciences, how to benefit from its results, and identify some of the affecting variables on the student's achievement in these courses.
