Riyadh - King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, appointed three new members to the Supreme Economic Council (SEC) through a Royal Order issued Monday, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The three new members are Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Mohammed Bin Naif and the SEC secretary general.
Prince Saud Al-Faisal was also appointed SEC Chairman in a reshuffle of the Council. The new permanent committee of the SEC consists of Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Chairman, Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Member, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Khuwaiter, Minister of State, Member of Cabinet, Chairman of Permanent Committee of the Cabinet, Member, Minister of Labor, Member, Dr. Mutlab bin Abdullah Al-Nafisah, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet, Member, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Member, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Member, Minister of Finance, Member, Minister of Economy and Planning, Member, Minister of Water and Electricity, Member, Governor of Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, Member and the Secretary-General of Supreme Economic Council, member.
