Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques launched yesterday Janadria National Festival for Heritage and Culture in its 25th edition which has been organized on a yearly basis by the National Guard.
During the festival's diversified cultural activities, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz received king of Bahrain Hamad Bin Eisa Alkhalifa and the accompanying delegation, the Prime Minister of Emirates lieutenant general Saif Bin Zaid Al Nahian, and sheikh Hamed Bin Zaid Al Nahian president of Abu Dhabi crown prince's divan in addition to other guests including the French Minister of Culture.
After the first round of camel race, king Abdullah bin Abdulaziz honored the first five winners, while only the first and second of them received presents offered by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zaid Al Nahian President of Emirates.
Listening to explanations about exhibited articles which represent the festival diversified activities, King Abdullah and Bahrain's king called on photos gallery that narrates the 25-years mission of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture. In the end of this round, King Abdullah greeted the youngest craftsman participating at the this year festival.
Both kings of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain attended the speech and artistic event held at Janadria closed hall in the presence of the Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Deputy to Premiere and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General. The event began with a speech delivered by Prince Metaab bin Abdullah, vice president of National Guard for executive affairs, who then submitted memorial presents to king Abdullah for the lapse of 25 years after the first launch of the festival, in addition to other presents delivered to both Bahrain's king and Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz.
