Riyadh, eMedia: The Directorate General for Passport is to start at the outset of next Jumaddah 2 applying the e-fingerprint as an inevitable procedure required to renew residence permit for non-Saudis, declared Salem Mohamed Al Belaihed, the Director General. He pointed out that three stages were previously carried out two years ago before applying this procedure. During the second previous stage, the electronic fingerprint was linked to issuing & reissuing of residence permit, services transfer and any relevant modifications within residence permit details. At the third stage, issuing a re-entry or final exit visas was linked by e-fingerprint, while the fourth stage will include the e-fingerprint to be a necessary requirement for implementing all passport services for non-Saudis.
