Riyadh, eMedia: The 10th conference of Communications Processing and Tariff committee for GCCs holds a meeting today in Riyadh to discuss internet interconnection "peering" among Gulf Countries. The meeting is planned to discuss service recovery in case of any accidental cut-off for the national networks. In addition, It aims at deliberating other issues related to processing, tariffs in addition to mobile roaming and the mutual-cost settling among GCCs. It will throw light on the necessity that a delegation from The GCC Interconnection Authority should submit an illustration about potentials available to exploit fiber optic lines related to electricity interconnection.
