K.S.A achieves a good rank by stepping forward five positions for the first time in the annual Global Information Technology Report.
According to the report, K.S.A’s outstanding levels of networked readiness (24 in ranking) are closely tied to the country’s excellent regulatory environment (32 in ranking), coupled with clear government leadership and vision in leveraging information and communication technology (ICT).
The report, co-produced by the World Economic Forum and INSEAD Professor in Business and Technology Soumitra Dutta, assesses the impact of ICT on the development process and competitiveness of countries. Its Networked Readiness Index (NRI) measures the propensity of nations to leverage opportunities offered by ICT for development and increased competitiveness.
