Naif to review stalled Makkah Region projects

Riyadh, e-Media:

 Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, is scheduled to preside over the second session of the third round of Makkah Regional Council tomorrow, where discussions will take place on projects in the region.
Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Makkah Regional Council, will present the Second Deputy Premier with a report prepared by the region’s citizens, including officials and youths, on accomplishments over the past four years. The report is on the strategy of Makkah governorate, under the motto “Toward the first world”, to make Makkah a leading international city, according to "Saudi Gazette" newspaper.
There will be a review of stalled projects, those completed and under way. Prince Naif will also watch a presentation on the regional council’s vision for the next four years.
The preparation of the report was preceded by over 48 workshops at regional level, which included the participation of officials from government and a number of citizens.
Youths were also involved, to ensure the credibility and impartiality of the report.
