Dammam - Asharqia Chamber of Commerce signed on Thursday a cooperation accord with Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) in order to strengthen efforts for settlement of jobs in the private sector.
The contract was signed by Asharqia Chamber's Secretary-General , Adnan bin Abdullah AL-Naeem and Director of Fund's branch in the eastern region, Zidan Bin Ali Al- Zidan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Secretary-General of Asharqia Chamber, said that the accord focus on the two parties' role to achieve the economic and social development for the Eastern Region ,aiming at set up mechanisms and strategic plans to reduce unemployment and increase the ratio of Saudization in the private sector.
He added that the accord aims to benefit from the national cadres in the Saudization of employment, achievement of strategic objectives of the two parties through several mechanisms, which include the proposal of training programs that meet the needs of the private sector of manpower, according to the fund's programs to support training-related employment.
He added that the accord will enable the two parties to design courses of joint training for employment of qualified cadres in accordance with the mechanisms adopted by the Fund.
For his part, the director of Fund's branch in the eastern region Zidan Al-Zidan clarified that the fund aims to support efforts to train and employ the manpower in the private sector, provide the labor market with manpower to raise the efficiency and practice the professions and occupations in the private sector and upgrading their performance, which reflects the growth and development of the national economy.
