Riyadh - The Supreme Court of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced yesterday that today November 18, 2009, will be corresponding to the first day of the month of Dul Hijjah 1430H, according to a number of reliable witnesses throughout the regions of the Kingdom.
Accordingly, Arafat Day, when pilgrims stand in prayer on the plain of Arafat marking the climax of Hajj, which is the ninth day of the month of Dul Hijjah every year, falls on Thursday November 26, 2009 and the first day of Eid Al-Adh-ha (Greater Bairam) on Friday November 27, 2009, the court's statement said, wishing pilgrims successful Hajj and Muslims all over the world blessed Eid, Saudi Press Agency reported.
