Riyadh - King Saud University (KSU) and General Presidency for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice( GPVPV) sign here today a contract for establishment of King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz's chair for Hesbah and its Contemporary studies at the university's headquarters.
The rector of KSU, Dr. Abdullah bin AbdulRahman Al-Othman, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper, clarified that the signing of chair is considered as support for the university's mission to serve the society and scientific research in all fields.
For his part, the president of GPVPV, Sheikh AbdulAziz Bin Humain Al-Humain indicated that the patronage of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques for the ritual of promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, appears in the development of GPVPV and support of its objectives through this research chair which is the first of its kind in the world.
