Makkah - More than two million worshipers witnessed the conclusion of the recitation of the Holy Quran in the Grand Mosque last night, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The central area near the mosque was closed to cars and worshippers managed to perform prayers in peace and security due to the great efforts exerted by the state to facilitate the performance of the rituals.
The efforts were followed up by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee.
