King Abdullah approves Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs to participate in World Urban Forum

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz approved lately the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs to participate in the world urban forum in its 5th edition held in the Brazilian city Rio de Janeiro during this month.
Prince Dr. Mansour Bin Metaab, Minister of Municipal and Rural affairs, emphasized the great support dedicated by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy to Premiere to develop municipal affairs so as to provide citizens all over the kingdom with best services.
He pointed out that Medina Municipality will represent the Ministry at the forum illustrating achievements made by Medina's Urban Observatory  as a distinctive example. Specialists from the Ministry and Medina Municipality will participate at the forum as well, he added.
Stressing the advanced levels and pioneering stages reached by all Saudi Municipalities and cities, such a participation will declare Medina Municipality as a Saudi exemplary city which has a lot of achievements that worth being showed to other countries, the Minister said. This will indicate the distinctive role of  the Kingdom's Government and its effective partnership with both the private sector and civil community, he added.
