Majlis Al-Shura approved increasing Wheat Stock
Riyadh, SPA:
Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held its 43rd ordinary session yesterday.
At the outset of the session, the Speaker delivered a speech in which he congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; the royal family; the Saudi people; and Arab and Islamic nations on Eid Al-Fitr.
the Council approved the reconsideration of the organizational status of Control and Investigation Board “CIB” in addition to its message and objectives in accordance with Article 80 of the Primary regime of ruling, so that it will be a central Board that is in charge of controlling and investigating over Government Performance in addition to increasing no. of its offices all over the Kingdom.
Dr. Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al-Gamdy, the Secretary General, pointed out that Majlis Al-Shura approved in this session increasing the stock of wheat to be sufficient for a year.
he said that Majlis Al-Shura approved a report by the Committee of Economic and Energy Affairs on a draft Protocol for cooperation in oil, gas and metal sectors between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic Vietnam.
