King Approves Extension of Foreign Scholarships Program for Five Years
Riyadh, (SPA) - The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has approved the extension of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program for Foreign Scholarships for five years effective from the fiscal year 1431/1432H.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari said that the program aims to develop the efficiency of citizens and to provide them with various types of knowledge and sciences in scientific and theoretical specializations from advanced countries universities.
He noted that the extension of the program is a real opportunity for citizens to study and get the highest academic qualifications and degrees.
The Minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to the King for supporting and financing the Program, adding that the King's approval of extending the Program and financing it for the next five years exemplifies the keeness of the King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, in education and its prosperity.
