MAKKAH - King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah organizes in cooperation with the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, University of Umm Al-Qura, the 5th Annual Conference of Makkah laboratories under the title of "Micro-organisms and infectious diseases" during the period from 14 to 18 of next month, at Grand Coral Hotel in Makkah.
The Executive director –general of King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah, Dr. Khalid Bin Qasim Al-Semiri, according to Saudi Press Agency,pointed out that the five-day conference aims to discuss the latest developments and the latest scientific achievements and new research and studies in this field, and this comes as part of the scheduled scientific activities of the Academic Committee in King Abdullah Medical City this year 2009.
The conference chairman, Dr. Yosuf bin Abdul Wahid Khudary stated that the five-day conference would discuss the medical sciences such as Virology, Parasitology, bacteriology, mycology and infection control science, pointing out that the conference will be presented by a number of specialized professors and consultants in laboratories sciences.
