Saudi Arabia hands over 30 ambulances to Sudanese government

E-Media: Khartoum - Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) provided the Government of the Republic of Sudan with 30 ambulances within a contribution of the Saudi Red Crescent's program to assist hospitals in Sudan's Darfur State. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi ambassador to Sudan Mohammed bin Abbas Al-Kilabi handed over the ambulances at a ceremony held on this occasion in support of the Sudanese government. In a statement following the delivery, the Sudan's humanitarian aid commissioner Mohammed Abdulrahman Hassabu commended the assistance of the "Kingdom of Humanity". In a similar statement, Dr. Muala Alian Al-Gabri, Executive Director of Saudi relief program, confirmed that the delivery of the 30 ambulances came within the $ 70 million allocated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Darfur through the Saudi Red Crescent.
