Crown Prince inaugurated several projects at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals

Al-khobar, SPA: Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premiere and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, attended last night, at Sultan bin Abdul Aziz Center for Science and Technology in the province of Al-khobar, the concluding ceremony of the Second National Competition which was dedicated to the preparation of small projects’ work plans. He additionally launched a number of projects and initiatives related to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. Crown Prince launched King Fahd Center for Conferences at the University, and laid the foundation stone for the university endowment projects that are aimed at enhancing the university potential to develop its educational and research programs. In this respect, he declared his contribution of 20 million SR for this endowments project. He Then launched the National Program for Preventive driving through which the university in collaboration with relevant agencies, has been seeking to spread traffic awareness emphasizing the importance of a number of values related to driving. At end of the launching party, Prince Sultan accepted the Honorary Presidency of the program.
