Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, patronized last night the Saudi Ardha ceremony within the activities of Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Cultural in its 25th edition.
Upon arrival at the venue of ceremony which was held in the closed sports hall on the road of Dir'iya, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques was received by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior; Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region; Prince Abdul-Allah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King; Prince Muqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare; Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Deputy General President of Youth Welfare and Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Assistant Deputy Commander of National Guard and Deputy President of the Supreme Committee of Janadriyah National Festival for Heritage and Culture.
Then, princes and a number of officials were greeted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques who standed at his place in the podium of the ceremony before starting the Saudi Ardha.
Then the King took part in the Saudi Ardha (sword dance). Other princes also shared the performance.
Then King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz toured a photo exhibition on late King Abdulaziz's meetings with world leaders, collected by Adnan bin Saleh Al-Tareef, a Saudi researcher.
Then the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques attended the dinner party held in his honor by the Higher Organizing Committee of the National Festival for Heritage and Culture.
The Ardha party, the exhibition tour and the dinner party were attended by Prince Fahd bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz; Prince Mite'b bin Abdulaziz; Prince Turki Al-Faisal; Prince Khalid bin Musaed bin Abdulrahman; Prince Naif bin Saud bin Abdulaziz; Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education; Prince Badr bin Fahd bin Saad; Prince Dr. Mansour bin Mite'b bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Mite'b bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Commander of the National Guard for Executive Affairs and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Organizing Committee for the National Festival for Heritage and Culture; other princes and senior officials.
