Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, President of the National Center for Digital Certification Dr. Fahd Alhoimani inaugurated yesterday "Information security leadership forum", organized by IT Security Training and Solutions Corporation in collaboration with the National Center for Digital Certification, subordinate to Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Alhoimani delivered the inauguration speech highlighting the general status of technology in the Kingdom. He then threw light on the infrastructure project of the public key which is sponsored by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as well as the establishment of the National Center for Digital Certification. Additionally, the overall status of the kingdom's infrastructure of public key, types of certificates, the technical structure, policies and licensing procedures were discussed as well.
Attended by more than 120 persons from different government agencies, business sectors, Banks, STC, Ministry of Education, Health Care in addition to other experts from international specialized corporations, The forum discussed many relevant topics pointing out information crimes that have lately become a phenomenon that deserves to be deliberated and keenly reviewed.
