Second Deputy Premier to launch University Projects

E-Media: Riyadh - Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, is to launch a number of projects at Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University at a total cost of around SR 1.6 billion during his sponsorship of "Social Partnership Forum" running from 25-28 May at the university's headquarter. The university's director Dr. Sulaiman Abalkhail, according to "Al-Riyadh" newspaper said " We are going to establish a university city for girls and there are new six departments have been opened for girls in the collages of economy and administrative sciences". He explained that the allocation for scientific research has increased by 400% over the past two years. Dr. Abalkhail pointed out that the university has signed a number of memoranda of understanding with the public sector, and that the university would soon sign cooperation agreements with universities and institutions of higher education in China, UK and Australia, and that the university will continue to achieve its mission and community service.
