Majlis Al-Shoura Approves the Amended Arab Cooperation Agreement on Relief Operations

Riyadh, e-Media: Presided over by its Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Shoura Council approved by majority here today the amended Pan Arab Cooperation Agreement on Running Relief Operations. In a press statement following the meeting, the Secretary General of Al-Shoura Council Dr. Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Ghamdi said the 17-article agreement coordinates relief works among Arab countries and eases procedures in case of disasters, crises and emergencies. Then the Council discussed the marriage of a Saudi national to a non-Saudi and vice versa. Discussion was adjourned to a future session. Then the members reviewed a report on the annual performance of the General Commission for Survey covering the period from 12/12/1428 to 29/12/1430 H. Discussion on the issue will be continued in a future meeting.
