Riyadh - Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah chaired yesterday the regular meeting of the National Scientific Committee of Infectious Diseases, which attended by specialists from all government health sectors .
During the meeting, according to Saudi Press Agency, they reviewed the remedial actions to swine flu in the light of current developments of the epidemic and according to the recommendation of WHO organizations and the National Scientific Committee of Infectious Diseases. The ministry was delivered antiretroviral therapy virus (H1N1) without waiting for laboratory results but as per the physician, based on clinical and scientific criteria for groups of patients with risk and the most vulnerable to complications of influenza, and those with chronic lung disease, heart, liver, kidney patients or patients with chronic nerve, obesity and metabolic diseases, pregnant women).
On the other hand, Ministry of Health called all government sectors to participate in the national campaign to raise awareness of Swine flu under the slogan (your commitment, protect you) carried out by the ministry.
