Museums open for Eid Holidays

Riyadh - Prince Sultan bin Salman, chairman of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), has instructed the National Museum in Riyadh and 15 other public museums in the country to stay open for visitors during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Deputy chairman of SCTA for antiques and museums, Ali Al-Ghabban, said according to "Al-Yaum" newspaper, that the public museums will be opened on the morning and evening, and the visitors will watch artifacts and antiquities, noting that museums are full of archaeological, historical, cultural and scientific substances which embody the various aspects of ancient life as well as models of some of handcrafts. The museums also contain exhibits and artifacts reflect a clear profile of the Arabian Peninsula's vestiges.
