Riyadh - In the presence of the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, the Ministry of Health (MOH) signed yesterday a memorandum of partnership with Microsoft Corp.
In a press statement published on ministry's webiste after signing the memo, the minister said that under the directives of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the ministry of health is working to develop the health services, particularly in the fields of information technology and communication, describing this partnership as very important for both sides.
The adviser of Minister of Health, General Supervisor of Information and Communications Technology at the Ministry, Dr. Mohamed Al-Yemeni stressed that the agreement aimed at bridging the digital gap and take advantage of technology and communication to the public health service, and this is not carried out only by a strategic partnership between the health sector and international companies specialized in information technology.
