Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Ibn Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Province, patronized here yesterday the graduation ceremony of the 7th batch of students from Taif University.
Upon arrival at the venue, the Prince was received by Mayor of Taif Fahd bin Abdulaziz bin Muammar and a number of officials.
In his speech, the University's President Dr. Abdulilah bin Abdulaziz Banajah expressed his pleasure over the Prince's patronage of the ceremony, noting that the batch included 6,482 graduates.
Main while, Prince Khalid, presided here Saturday evening a meeting of the Council for Development and Tourism Development for Taif Governorate.
Mayor of the Governorate Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Bin Moammar, who is also the Council's Chairman, its members and a large number of businessmen and investors attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on in-depth discussions on a draft five-year plan for tourism and tourism development projects, a draft project for colors of the buildings and the Historic Center of Taif.
Prince Khalid was briefed on a perspective of a project to establish "WAJ" company for Development and Investment, which aims to develop tourism sites through the private sector, and about the branches of companies, which are interested in health projects, training and education, and agricultural affairs as well as issues related to the real estate development and organizing of festivals.
During the meeting, Prince Khalid Al-Faisal issued the necessary directives for taking interest in tourism projects in the governorate.
