Jeddah governor to inaugurate Saudi publisher fair

E-Media: Jeddah - Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah will inaugurate on Sunday the "First Saudi Publisher Fair" at Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events (JCFE(. More than 150 Saudi publishing houses will display their latest intellectual and literary products during the event.. The deputy-chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) Dr. Abdullah Marei Bin Mahfouz, pointed out that JCCI has invited the Saudi authors and writers to attend the exhibition, which comes within the cultural activities of the festival "Jeddah Ghair (Jeddah is different) as the leading cultural event in Jeddah in an attempt to attract the Saudi author and publisher . The exhibition aims to strengthen the Kingdom’s publishing industry and will witness a number of workshops, meetings and seminars which will be attended by prominent Saudi writers and intellectuals, including women, on the sidelines of the exhibition. He added that the exhibition will give an opportunity for Saudis and expatriates to follow the latest books published in the Kingdom.
