Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities has lately operated 150 electronic tourist information centers at different airports, hypermarkets, and Hotels. The lately operated equipment look like ATMs and are self-operated for 24 hours.
Eng. Ibrahim Al-Karida, Internal Marketing Director pointed out that such equipment contain a comprehensive data base for all tourist services in the Kingdom.
He said that such touch-screen equipment have been used to get tourist information as they are linked with Internet where users can find necessary information to be then sent to his Mobile through Bluetooth technology.
