S.R 15 Million allocated for implementing advanced systems in Water Sector

Ministry of Water and Electricity has allocated S.R 15 Million for the first phase of developing its performance in Water Sector.
Eng. Sami Abu Helal, the Ministry's IT General Manager, pointed out that they have sought to launch the first phase of this development project that came within the strategic plan of the e-Government Board named "Zajil". This will begin during the coming few months, he added, in Madina's Water Directorate, while the second phase which is expected to start in next November will include the Eastern Region and Qassim Governorate. During the first quarter of next year, other regions will be included till they are all covered by the end of that year, he anticipated.
Eng. Abu Helal stated that the Ministry applied an Invoicing System and a world customer service system "CC&B" which were provided by one of the pioneering corporations all over the world, thus the Ministry has been the first Service Sector in the Kingdom applying such an advanced system and the second one in the Middle East Region.
