King Saud University Inaugurates e-learning System

E-media: Riyadh. The Minister of higher Education, Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Angari has launched yesterday e-learning system in King Saud University while opening the University pavilion at the International Higher Education Exhibition. According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Minister viewed several development programs in the University. The Dean of e-learning and distance learning at the University, Dr. Sami bin Mohammed Al Hammoud briefed the SPA on the portal of the e-learning explaining that it is a group of network applications linked with other systems in the University. These applications, according to the Dean, were established in accordance with the most up-to-date international standards that suit the requirements of the University, adding that a technical team was trained on support services to provide faculty and students with their needs. A team from the Deanery has also provided user interfaces and Arabization package in line with the mission of the university.
