Minister of Higher Education Launches the 101 Electronic Service of His Ministry

Riyadh. The Minister for Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Angari, has today inaugurated the electronic service No. 101 for his Ministry. Seizing the opportunity of the International Higher Education Exhibition activities, the Minister disclosed that this service is a continuation of the 100 electronic services provided by the Ministry during the past three years for Saudi students in the Kingdom and Abroad and also the Cultural Attachés, universities and other scholarship agencies. The Minister stressed that providing these electronic services is the implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to activate electronic services in all Government Agencies in the Kingdom stressing that his Ministry has drawn a plan to transform all its services into electronic services and upgrade the level the electronic readiness of the Ministry be it the infrastructure or human resources.
On his part the Deputy Minister for Planning and Information, Dr. Abdul Qadir bin Abdullah Al Fantoukh noted that the benefits of the provision of electronic services were reflected on the Ministry of Higher Education and the Saudi students and Cultural Attaches, adding that the total electronic transactions in his Ministry has exceeded 542000 transaction and the beneficiaries exceeded 83000 student and more than 34 Cultural Attaché in various parts of the world.
