Ministry of Justice has started the actual implementation of the comprehensive e-System at Courts and Notary's throughout the Kingdom. The initial steps of such implementation appear in operating an e-System for the legal field at both of the General Courts of Dammam and Khobar to tackle electronically cases, possession instruments issuance, and legislative resolutions.
Sheikh Abdul-Rahman bin Mohamed Al-Raqeeb, Head of The Eastern Region's Courts and Head of Appeal Court, pointed out that this comprehensive e-System will help achieve higher performance for the benefit of both the citizens and employees as well. This will lead to easily-finalized procedures and transactions, yet with higher quality, he added. Regarded as a triggering point for e-Courts, this e-System has come as a complementary part for the administrative areas where cases and transactions are to be firstly registered then referred and distributed among Judges and departments including timing and issuance of reporting sheets which will be made electronically, he confirmed.
