A UN world-class prize for King Saud university in e-Services

Riyadh, e-Media: Dr. Abdullah bin Abdurrahman Al-Osman, rector of King Saud University "KSU" received a world-class prize granted by the United Nations to King Saud University for its efforts in improving public services and submitting e-Services. This ceremony took place Wednesday in Spain where a lot of attendees were coming from all over the world. KSU has been regarded as the first University all over the world to be granted such a world-class distinguished prize which is the highest one in evaluating e-Services. On this occasion, KSU's rector expresses congratulations to Custodian of the two holy mosques, King Abdullah, the Crown prince and the second deputy to premiere. He pointed out that the University submitted details about the smart university city in addition to other information about educational technologies which as a whole qualified the University to win such a prize. Such a world-class prize has been considered an international acknowledgment by the UN that the University has exerted distinguished efforts in improving the Public services. In this respect, the reasons for such a winning are based on the keen interest in enhancing and developing an appropriate educational climate for e-Learning for the sake of students, employees and academic staff.
