Cabinet court merged with royal court
Jeddah, SPA:
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued yesterday a royal decree relieving Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, President of the Cabinet Presidency Court, from his post upon his request and continuing his other positions as a Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet.
In order to reorganize both the Royal Court and the Court of Presidency of the Cabinet and to revamp their performance, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued an order here yesterday annexing the Court of Presidency of the Cabinet to the Royal Court and considering them as a single apparatus under the name of The Royal Court.
The order also stipulated to form a panel to be presided over by the President of the Royal Court to complement the procedures by introducing the required amendments to the Cabinet Regulation, and that the panel should submit its report within 6 months to the King.
Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri was appointed to the position of the President of the Royal Court and as the Private Secretary of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque, at ministerial rank, the order said.
The President of the Royal Court was asked to submit his nominations to the leading positions in the Royal Court to the King, the order concluded.
Meanwhile, King Abdullah received at his palace here Sheikh Fada'a bin Nawaf bin Shuraim; Al-Hamily family including Ali bin Khulaif Al-Hamli Al-Shammari and his brothers including Rafie, Nafie, and Bayit; his sons including Fawaz, Khalid, Sabhan, Farhan, Majid, Khulaif and Naumann, the sons of Ali bin Khulaif Al-Hamili Al- Shammari; Khalid and Fahd, the sons of Nafi bin Khulaif Al-Hamili Al-Shammari; and Mohammed, Khaled and Freih, the sons of Khalaf Al-Shammari, who declared before the King that they have forgiven the killer of their son Mohsen bin Ali bin Khulaif Al-Hamili Al-Shammari on the occasion of the King's safe return home after a successful therapeutic trip abroad.
The King thanked them, praying to Allah for rewarding them greatly for their forgiveness and he sent his condolences to the mother of the killed.
The audience was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal Ibn Abdulaziz, Governor of Makkah Province, and a number of officials.
