Kingdom to participate in Geneva Global Telecom Expo
Riyadh - The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Jamil bin Ahmed Mulla has expressed his appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his approval that the Ministry represents the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at an International Exhibition and a Conference of Communications to be organized by The International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, Switzerland on October 5-9.
In a press statement quoted by Saudi Press Agency on this occasion, the Minister commended governmental bodies and companies working in this sector, which have agreed to participate in the Kingdom's pavilion, noting that the Kingdom's participation in this important global event reflects the position of Saudi telecommunications sector at the global arena.
Noteworthy, ITU is the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technology issues, and the global focal point for governments and the private sector in developing networks and services.
