UN Secretary General thanks the king for KSA relief donation to Somalia

Jeddah, SPA: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a telephone call this evening from Ban Ki Moon, the Secretary General of the United Nations, thanking the monarch for the donation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia worth $50 million to purchase foodstuffs for Somali refugees through the World Food Program in addition to $10 million to provide medicine and vaccines and other. The UN Secretary General has pointed to famine facing some African Horn countries, calling on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to have an honorary position, as customary, to fight such serious crises.
