Riyadh - Saudi Arabia will partake in the five-day Forum on "Transportation Future," starting its works in Istanbul-Turkey under the banner of "Vision-2023" during the period from 8-12 Shawaal 1430H corresponding to 27 September to 1 October 2009.
The Minister of Transport, Dr. Jubarah Eid Al Suraiseri, will lead the Saudi delegation to the event.
The Forum, according to Saudi Press Agency, aims at drawing up plans, strategies and visions for the future of transport and communications sectors until the year 2023.
The forum will feature the current situation of the transport sector and its constraints, developing appropriate solutions, exchange of experiences between countries, extending bridges of effective cooperation and raise the level of transport sector to achieve the visions, aspirations and future policies.
