On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, Eng. Mohamed Jameel Bin Ahmed Mullan, Minister of Communications and Information Technology launched yesterday the e-Government 2010 and the accompanying exhibition at Four Seasons in Riyadh.
At the outset of the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Abdurahman Al-Jaafary, Governor of Communications and Information Technology, Head of the Yesser’s Steering Committee delivered a speech confirming that such a Conference has been envisioned to illustrate developments achieved in the journey of e-Government Transformation.
Dr. Al-Jaafary pointed out that the Conference is aimed at urging Government Agencies to achieve more developments in implanting e-Government Transactions.
He announced launching the e-Government Achievement Award which has come also under patronage of the Monarch.
