Jeddah - Some 40 former and current officials in different government offices have been detained pending investigation into the Jeddah flood disaster.
This action was based on the strict directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who follow up the committee's work since its first meeting on December, 05 , "Al-Watan" newspaper reported.
The detainees have cooperated with the Commission stressing their keenness to provide valuable information and important documents.
