Traffic Administration launches a new e-System enabling Motors Agencies to issue Vehicles' Plates and Licenses

Maj. Gen. Sulaiman Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Ajlan, Director of the Traffic General Administration launched yesterday the new e-System titled "TAM" which will enable Motor Agencies to issue directly vehicles' plates and licenses. Coming within events of GITEX Exhibition organized at Riyadh International Exhibition Center, this was attended by Eng. Ali Al-Same, Gen. Director of e-Government Program "Yesser", and from the Traffic General Administration Brig. General Abdul Hadi Al Otaibi, Manager of Follow-up, Brig. Gen. Ali Al-Jaloud, Manager of Transportation, Colonel Abdul Rahman Al Muqbil, Director of Riyadh Traffic and Colonel Khalid Al Hawasy, Manager of IT in addition to Dr. Khalid Al Ghonaim, Manager of Al Elm Corporation.
Maj. Gen. Al-Ajlan pointed out that the newly launched service includes utilization of all technical and electronic potentials for the sake of traffic customers. Executing the service, he said, came after the application mechanism for the first stage was discussed by Traffic General Administration, the National Information Center, the National Committee for Motors Agencies, and Al Elm Corporation which has taken over the execution of the project and all its stages in coordination with the Traffic Administration. A timing schedule was put for finalizing all affairs related to the project including training the Motors Agencies employees on how to use the new system, he added
The service was launched yesterday at Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam with a gradually consequential progress all over the kingdom, said the Traffic Administration Director. The benefits for traffic customers appear in easy and simple manner where they can apply to get vehicles licenses and plates at any time even on vacation days especially that traffic Departments work only for limited hours at daytime. Furthermore, this service will be followed by a set of other similar services i.e.; used vehicles showrooms will be able to execute the same service, he added.
