Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Mohamed Jameel Bin Ahmed Mula, appreciates the Approval of the Custodian of the Two Mosques to patronize the National e-Government Conference in its second edition that will be concluded during the period 16-20/10/1431.
He confirmed that such a royal patronage has come as an extension to the continuous support by the Monarch towards IT and e-Government Transactions to push such a technological march forward.
The Minister pointed out that the e-Government’s success has been linked with the effective cooperation and partnership among different Government Agencies to achieve integration and unification of e-Services they offer.
The Conference, he said, has been the fruit of more than 80 Agencies’ expertise in e-Government. It will throw light on different expertise and best practices that will enrich the overall tendency towards e-Government Transformation in the Kingdom. Aiming at supporting the implementation of e-Government and pointing out the efforts made by different Government Agencies, the Conference will seek to achieve an effective partnership and cooperation climate between both the Public and Private Sectors. It will also provide all attendees, including citizens, residents and business sector, with the proper knowledge about e-Government and how it will simplify implementations of everyday necessary transactions.
Attracting more than 350 Agencies and 2500 officials from the Government Sector, the Conference events will target all the Society segments and e-Services beneficiaries. In addition, it will host a combination of international and Gulf area Government Agencies with international representatives in the field of e-Government.
