The General Administration for Female Education in the Eastern Region launched yesterday at its quarter in Dammam, a program for remote communication. The program which helps provide various activities for most targeted segments, has been aimed at saving time, effort and cost spent for meetings, forums and training programs.
Fahd Al-Ghafeily, Assistant General director of Female Education Directorate in the Eastern Region, pointed out, through a closed circuit television, the importance of remote communication to keep up with the vast information technology revolution. Remote communication provides an applicable and easy-to-use training in the Educational field, he added.
Fatema Al-Ghamdy, Quality and Evaluation Superintendent at Female Education, delivered an explanation about the concept of electronic Education and training confirming that such an e-training enables trainees to increase their expertise, skills and scientific knowledge in general. Utilizing latest communication technologies i.e.; PC, Networks and Multimedia at an electronic hall, is to break through time and space limitations, she added.
e-Communication channels start to be linked with Comprehensive Quality Department at the Ministry of Education in Riyadh, where Dr. Adnan Alwarthan, Director of Riyadh Quality Department, gave a lecture on comprehensive quality.
