Council of Saudi Chambers participates in Cairo Conference

E-Media: The Council of Saudi Chambers represented by his Secretary-General Fahad Bin Saleh Al-Sultan is participating in the 40th Session of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for Arab Countries, which held today and tomorrow in Cairo under the title "The challenges of development financing in the light of the global financial crisis." The conference will discuss trade liberalization and the future of the Arab Industry in the light of economic and social Arab summit results, challenges of the Arab private sector to play its role in development under the global financial crisis, and the role of the private sector in achieving Arab food security. The Secretary-General of the Council, Dr Fahad Al Sultan said, according to Saudi Press Agency, that the conference comes at a difficult time where the Arab economy facing the global economy crisis and difficult circumstances, noting that the Kingdom thanks to precautionary measures taken by the leadership, was able to alleviate the repercussions of the crisis on the Saudi economy. He called on to activating the Arab economic integration and cooperation to meet the growing challenges faced by the Arab economies with the rising tide of economic openness and global competition for investment opportunities.
