Largest kidney Dialysis Center at world level to come up in Jeddah

E-Media: Riyadh - The Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Health Dr Abdullah Al-Rabeeah signed yesterday a contract for implementing the project of Prince Abdul-Majeed bin Abdulaziz Center for Kidneys at the Jeddah-based King Fahd hospital. Prince Abdul Aziz said according to Saudi Press Agency, that the construction of the center, which will be one of the biggest facilities in the world, will be completed within 18 months. The Center, due to be implemented at a cost of SR 60 million, will include 140 devices for kidney-washing. The Center will be capable of extending services to more than 800 patients of the kidney-failure. The project will be implemented by donations from some philanthropists. Minister of Health expressed appreciation for Prince Ahmad Bin Salman Charitable Society and all businessmen who have contributed to the implementation of the project. He added that the center is an integrated for supporting services, noting that the Health Ministry will recruit national medical cadres.
