“Madina” newspaper interviewed Dr. Majdi Hariri member of Shura Council on housing issues following his participation in a recent workshop held by Ministry of Housing.

Ministry of Housing is using the expertise of a German housing professional company to develop its housing strategy. Several workshops discussed housing problems. The recent workshop discussed four major items including regulating the housing market, efficiency of the housing market, supporting of housing and affordable housing. Strategies have been developed to resolve these problems. An ambitious plan will be implemented within the next 15 years to make necessary corrections that will results in a complete about-face change of the existing housing scene.
